Photos are imperative to get potential adopters to click on your pet's profile! To add photos to your pet's profile, follow these simple steps and scroll down for important Pro Tips!
- Log in to your Rehome account.
- Click on your Pet's profile by clicking their name from your "My pets" column. If you only have one pet listed, it will default to their pet profile overview.
- Click on the "Edit Profile" link:
- On the "Edit pet profile" page, scroll down until you come to "Photos & video" and click "Edit". When in Edit mode, the screen will be yellow. Click on each camera icon to add a photo or drag and drop photos, don't forget to click the brown "Save Changes" button. Pro Tip: the first photo is your main photo and the most important photo, as it's the only one potential adopters see when scrolling through hundreds of not thousands of pets on Adopt a Pet. When they click on your pet's profile, they'll see photos 2, 3, 4, and the video. We highly recommend adding all four photos and a video to maximize potential adopter applications!
Pro Tip: Make sure your pet's head isn't getting cropped! That main photo will (or will not) entice more potential adopters to click on your pet's profile. Use a photo editor to crop all photos into a square shape (especially that main photo). This will help your pet's profile stand out from the crowd! Check out this before and after:
