Unfortunately, we are unable to change the zip code once the profile has been created since the pet has been featured in our New Pet Alerts which are based on location. If you are still within 35 miles of your previous location, you do not need to update this since your pet will show in the same search results.
If you would like to change the location, please create a new profile using a different email address and deactivate your current pet's profile by following the instructions below.
Steps to deactivate a pet profile:
- Click and login to rehome.adoptapet.com/auth/login
- Go to the overview page.
- Under my account click, the grey trash can "Deactivate Profile".
- Select why you want to remove your pet profile. 'I decided to keep my pet' is the best option.
- Click the green submit button.
