Need a foster home for your pet? Unfortunately, Rehome by Adopt a Pet should NOT be used for to find a temporary foster home for your pet. Rehome is simply not built to handle that transaction safely or legally.
Rehome was built to help owned pets find permanent new adoptive homes. Owners and adopters using Rehome agree to sign a permanent transfer of ownership contract. The contract is a key part of how Rehome helps keep pets and people safe.
If you are an individual who is fostering a pet that you've taken in, and you are not fostering that pet for a shelter or rescue (so you are the legal owner), you can list your pet on Rehome to find that pet a permanent new home.
