Great question! First of all, each pet needs to have their own profile. Next, add the following to each pet's "Story":
1) This pet is part of a bonded pair!
2) Add the other pet's Adopt a Pet profile URL to this Pet's Story (and vice versa).
Pro Tip: Put the bonded pair info and the respected URLs in the very first part of each pet's "Story" to set that expectation up-front for potential adopters.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Log in to your Rehome account, where you should be routed to one of your pet's Dashboards.
- Select the pet you wish to edit first and click "Edit Profile".
- Scroll down (past Overview, General info, Photos & video, and Key facts) to "Pet's story".
- Add the bonded pair info and the other pet's Adopt a Pet URL to the first part of your "Pet's story" and click "Save changes".
- Rinse and repeat for the second pet in the bonded pair.
Pro Tip: When editing their profile, also update each pet's name as well so that potential adopters can gather almost immediately, (no matter which profile they come across first), that this pet is part of a bonded pair! You may edit your pets' names under "General info". Lastly, add at least one photo in each pet's profile showing both pets together, we suggest this be their main (1st) photo!
Below is an example of renaming pets that are part of a bonded pair! The below screenshot is Binky's profile, and for Annie's profile the names reverse and read: "My name is Annie + (by bestie Binky)!".
