To reactivate your pet's profile so it is visible once again on Adopt a Pet follow the steps below!
Fun Fact: Wondering why your pet's profile was deactivated? If there hasn't been any activity on your pet's profile for 30 days, their profile is automatically deactivated. This is to ensure the pets on Adopt a Pet are indeed still available for adoption. To prevent this from happening in the future, go in and make a small edit to your pet's profile story!
1. Log in to your Rehome account
If you have one pet profile, skip to step 2.
If you have more than one pet profile, you may need to switch to the inactive pet profile first, to do so:
a. tap 
(hamburger icon) in the top right of your screen.
b. If the profile you're looking for has a gray background, tap "Dashboard"
c. If the profile you need to reactivate is not visible, tap the blue down arrow, and select the correct profile:
2. When you are on the inactive pet's profile you will see the first screen, tap the blue "Activate Previous Pet Profile" button, next tap the down arrow to reveal the dropdown and make your selection, then click the blue "Save" button.
3. You'll then be routed to your pet's Dashboard, where you may need to scroll down (depending on your screen's size), to click the "View Listing" icon to see your pet's listing on Adopt a Pet.
4. You're all set....as long as your pet's profile has photos! While we purposely didn't include a photo on our fake pet profile above (to avoid clicks from potential adopters) that's the same reason your pet's profile should always have photos! Uploading photos increases clicks by 500%, and does not trigger a review, so feel free to add (or switch out) photos anytime!
Pro Tip: If you make any updates to your pet's "Story" after reactivating their profile, don't be alarmed if their "View listing" icon/link disappears. Their profile is still active, just temporarily hidden!
All story updates are reviewed by Rehome in just 1 business day! Moving forward, update your pet's "Story" between Monday - Wednesday during the week to prevent their profile from being hidden on a weekend!
